Position Purpose

This position is responsible for managing the financial control function of the company and to upkeep the comprehensive day to day accounting function in all areas financial reporting, balance sheet control and reporting.

Job Description

• Managing the cost controller function within the company, ensuring efficient financial control.
• Supervising financial control analysts, prioritize workloads, and offer support to internal stakeholders and international customers.
• Reviewing and establishing SLAs and KPIs aligned with business priorities.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for management reporting systems, offering support to financial control staff and the broader business.
• Engaging with key stakeholders to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of queries by the financial control team.
• Supporting the implementation of a robust compliance process for data management functions.
• Developing a comprehensive training and development plan for the financial control team, ensuring coverage during holidays or absences.
• Overseeing the daily operation of the Bestway Medhub new account opening process and associated administrative tasks.
• Collaborating with the team to achieve KPIs, identify areas for enhancement, and implement improvements.
• Ensuring team compliance with internal audit and quality assurance requirements for all tasks and processes.
• Reviewing all process documentation to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Assisting the Head of Finance with ad hoc projects.
• Fostering positive relationships with both internal and external customers.

Experience and Qualification

• CA / ACCA Member 
• 08 to 10 years of relevant experience.
