Position Purpose

This position will be responsible for managing the Shared Service Operational Finance for Well Pharmacy and oversee day to day activities ensuring a quality service is delivered in each area.  

Job Description

• Creation of high performing team, responsible for attraction and retention of team members with the right skills and experience.
• Leadership and management of the team, responsible for inspiring, leading and coaching team members, setting objectives and holding regular performance reviews.
• Ensure team members remain competent in their roles, actively assess performance, identifying knowledge gaps and putting plans in place to rectify any underperformance/operational issues.
• Lead the documenting of processes and procedures working closely with UK Well teams to ensure task/activity accuracy.
• Responsible for ensuring all UK and Well data security procedures are followed, with regular checking and reporting.
• Early escalation of any risk or issues directly to Well Pharmacy CFO.
• Work closely with Well Pharmacy stakeholders to agree services levels and KPIs and ensure these are understood and delivered upon across the teams.
• Accountable for the delivery of several critical month end activities/processes and ensuring these are delivered on time in line with service level agreements.
• Responsible for active engagement with UK teams, creating opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration, ensuring business/teams are aware of changes and adequately prepared.
• Responsible to engaging with suppliers and 3rd Party vendors, ensuring clear communication at all times.
• Responsible for the management of business continuity plans across all areas, ensure effectively communication across the teams and to stakeholder in the UK.
• Create a control environment focused on processes with owners with controls in the right places so that risk are effectively managed and there are warning flags when things are moving adversely.

Experience and Qualification

• ACCA/CA
• 10 to 12 years of relevant experience.
